Chris Barentz always knew art would be in her life as a young child. Drawing, painting, and creating was what she loved to do. She is a 1987 LHS graduate, wife, mother to a daughter, son, and two fur babies and a 'Birdie' to two granddaughters, a grandson, and a four-legged corgi. From 1999-2007, she created beautiful finishes on walls, cabinets, and furniture throughout the south under her business, Barentz Design Studio. In 2008, she knew she had to do something different since the housing market crashed and several of the builders she worked with were no longer building. In August of 2008, the Lord called her to create art for HIM by using her talents to spread THE WORD. She now travels around to area states selling her art, chris bARenTz originals.  ART is in her name. You can find her work locally at the Yellowhammer Antique Mall. You can also commission her to create one of a kind pieces for your home or business.
